Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

  • Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total package cost.
  • Full payment must be made at least 15 days prior to the tour departure date.
  • Payments can be made through UPI, bank transfer or cash. A receipt will be issued for all transactions.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 30 days before travel: 25% of total cost
  • 15–30 days before travel: 50% of total cost
  • Less than 15 days before travel: 100% of total cost

Note: For flight/train tickets and hotel bookings, individual cancellation policies of the respective service providers will apply.

3. Changes & Amendments

  • Any amendments are subject to availability and may attract extra charges.
  • Requests for changes must be made in writing and confirmed by Nishan Travels.

4. Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance is strongly advised for all travellers. It is the client’s responsibility to arrange coverage.
  • Nishan Travels will not be liable for any losses due to accident, theft, illness, or unforeseen events.

5. ID & Documentation

  • All travellers must carry valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.).
  • Name and ID proof submitted for bookings must match those used during travel.

6. Health & Medical Fitness

  • Travelers must ensure they are medically fit for the trip.
  • Any medical condition should be disclosed at the time of booking. Nishan Travels holds no responsibility for any health-related issues during travel.

7. Responsibility & Liability

  • Nishan Travels acts only as an agent between the client and third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, transport).
  • We are not responsible for delays, losses, damages, or any changes due to third parties or unforeseen circumstances.

8. Force Majeure

  • Events such as natural calamities, pandemics, political unrest, or any events beyond our control may lead to changes in tour plans.
  • Nishan Travels reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or amend the tour without liability.

9. Traveller Conduct

  • All participants are expected to behave respectfully. Disruptive behaviour will lead to termination from the tour without refund.
  • Compliance with local laws and customs is expected at all times.

10. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

  • Any issues during the trip should be immediately reported to the tour coordinator.
  • Unresolved complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of tour completion.
  • All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Suri, Birbhum, West Bengal.
